Classes Start April 21st - Now Enrolling

During this interactive and hands-on series, we will grow together in knowledge, community, and well-being. From soil and seed to harvest, these classes build on one other, offering a comprehensive perspective for self-sufficient growing.

Facilitator, Lauren Wulker, has over 15 years of experience as a classroom Biology and Chemistry teacher and has been connected with food production efforts in and around the Ohio Valley region for just as long. She has been involved with the inception of a multitude of gardens from idea to harvest. Lauren completed her Masters in Biology with emphasis on sustainable agriculture and a role for community engagement and education. Subsequently, Lauren combined her teaching experience and passion for agriculture to help Miami University launch the Institute for Food Farm and has since taught agriculture related courses at various local non-profit organizations. When she is not working, Lauren enjoys teaching her daughters about the natural world and cooking with fresh produce from her garden.
